My mother and I found this company in 2020 but my hair growth journey started long before then.

I used to love watching Lizzie McGuire growing up. So much so that I even cut my bangs one year just so I could look like Hilary Duff!  

I remember being 13 or 14 years old and totally OBSESSED with straightening my hair every morning before school. 

By the time I entered my early 20’s my hair and scalp was so damaged that I didn't even remember what my natural curls looked like.
 

After 10+ years of putting my hair (and scalp) through the ringer I was pretty sick of it. I started to think about my natural hair, again. 

What it might look like.

Those natural curls coming in. 

I began following YouTubers like, Jaleesa Moses, who would alternate between rocking these bad-ass protective styles and other videos where she’d show off her short, naturally curly hair.

Wow, someone who looks like me… 

I discovered a community of women who had created a natural hair movement, for people of all shapes, sizes, and hair types to come together and shake up the status quo.

Women who became my teachers and my greatest inspiration.

So I thought, “Well… if they can do it, so can I!”

Adios to hair relaxers.

And sayonara to those damaging extensions.

The thing about cutting off all of your hair is that you really want it to grow… and fast.

I became addicted to learning everything I could about going natural, desperately searching for ways to speed up the natural hair growth process. 

For years, I had experimented with all kinds of natural herbs and oils in my kitchen until I came up with a solution that actually worked.

I started regularly using this homemade concoction on my scalp and my hair growth practically doubled.

My mom, and now business partner, Carol, was actually the one who came up with the idea to share this amazing hair oil with other people who are also struggling to grow their hair.
